Places I have been this year…

Amongst other things I have had wine tasting at Australia house, watched the International Rugby 7’s at Twickenham, the Socceroos vs. NZ friendly in box seats at Fulham, went to Wimbledon, ate at Gordon Ramsay’s, saw Al Murray the Pub Landlord, The Postman Always Rings Twice with Val Kilmer, Chicago, We Will Rock You, Shakespeare in Regents park open air theatre, saw Carl Orff performed at Royal Albert Hall with a 300 piece choir, I went to a Weekend at Dave’s, watched the filming of a new BBC show Grownups, have been on a Monopoly Pub Crawl, a Jack the Ripper walk, Primrose Hill, Oxo Tower, Electric Cinema, shopped Oxford street after closing for the Bombings, enjoyed England win the bid for the Olympics, viewed London from the top of the Mayor's office. We had bikes stolen with a nice visit from the police, and we saved a fox that was going to drown, thanks to the RSPCA. I got ripped off buy a great con guy, who looked like Santa wearing a Sainsbury's jumper.

I have seen bands such as, The Streets, The Thrills, The Chemical Brothers, New Order, Fat Boy Slim, U2, Nine Inch Nails, Keiser Chiefs, Prodigy, Cold Play, The Foofighters and have been to loaded in the Park and the O2 festival. I have been clubbing to Hard House Academy, Frantic and Timeless. I have seen Armin Van Bruuen, Pete Tong, Tall Paul, Paul Van Dyke, Paul Oakenfold, LAB 4 and loads more. Have been to Brixton Academy, Fabric, SEOne, MOS, The Fridge, Turnmills and many other that I just can’t recall.

I moved in with my girlfriend Serena in June to a one bedroom flat in Rotherhithe. We are on the Thames; well when the tide is up away. It's a lovely quiet suburb very close to central London and only 20 minutes or so to work. I am working for London Underground (still). London life is loads of fun made even better due to great friends. It's a frenetic city that has loads to offer and makes it very hard to even think about leaving, well that's until winter kicks in. Going to work in less that 5 degrees and in the dark, there is no fun there!

This year has been great fun thanks to my awesome friends here in London. You know who you are and you know you love me :-) and of course I love you!

To everyone and your friends and families, all the very best for the Christmas and the New Year!
